I just love this pic of my kasinsin doin’ his thang in the mothaland, burning the midnight oil, deep in thought with nothing to accompany him but his guitar. Even though I don’t talk to him as often as I’d like, I’m constantly inspired by his Roots-y nature: jamming on his down time, surfing the waves of the ocean and of Life, and walking with warriors in the war against gender-based violence in the community at the University of Hawaii. Although I’m in love with interviewing our Muses, it’s a lovely thing to be inspired by the people in our everyday lives. Keep on keepin’ on…--Love’n'light, Amee
